Two years have passed since the night of August 24th, 2016 when a disruptive and sinister dance awoke us in the middle of the night and took far to much. Condemned houses, completely destroyed villages, friends, relatives, social gathering areas… We said goodbye to many things, but we are alive, and we will not stop while we have the strength to sing and dance for the soul of our land.
La Via del Sale Onlus presents its 11th fundraising event in support of Central Italy. Proceeds will go to support the projects of the association which has always been active in those territories since August 26th, 2016.
We will make the past present thanks to the rhythm of the tambourine and accordion and by singing poetry and folk songs. Fairy tales, legends, myths, superstitions, proverbs, music and dances: the soul of a community and its folklore.
